Coronavirus Latest

Following Government and Church of England advice, we have decided to suspend all Sunday Services and midweek activities until further notice.  However, we have not stopped being a praying community, committed to growing in Jesus and sharing the good news with others.  There are three main ways our church life continues:

1. LiveStreaming our Sunday Services
Coronavirus Watch Online
We are LiveStreaming our services over YouTube (please don't come to the church building on Sunday unless you're taking part).  Click here for our services.  For our morning service, all you will need is a device and internet connection capable of watching YouTube videos.  We're using Zoom for other activities.  Our Families Worker is putting together packs for each family in church, with a Family Worship time based on our current Children's Group teaching series.  We've also got a gift coming for each of our families.

2. Opening a Prayer Space - CLOSED

Coronavirus Prayer

In light of tighter restrictions, the prayer space is currently closed until further notice; we will look at providing alternative supports for you to pray at home.  [The Church of England is encouraging churches to open their buildings for prayer.  Our main church building will be open Mon-Wed, 9am-12noon, and Thur-Fri, 9am-5pm, as a space for prayer.  We ask that everyone keeps a clear 2m (6 foot) distance from others.  Ideas for prayer will be up around the building.  There will also be a prayer tree - if you want to put a tag on our prayer tree, then please bring along your own pen.]

3. Forming Support Circles
Coronavirus Support Circle
We are inviting all in our church community to join a Support Circle.  These are smaller groups of 10-15 people to encourage and support each other, both practically and spiritually.  We suggest they use a free smart phone app called WhatsApp to stay connected.  Our existing midweek small groups will form Support Circles and we aim to set up circles for Parents and Men as well.  Some will also join together for online Bible Study over a free app called Zoom.  If you would like to join a Support Circle, then please get in touch with the office.
